Delivery and Dispatch Policy
Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. If we are unable to dispatch your order within 2 days, we will contact you by e-mail/Phone with an estimated dispatch date and offer you either alternative products or the option of cancelling the order. The contract between you the customer and us the supplier is deemed to be accepted upon dispatch of goods.
U.K. Deliveries are a combination of postage company’s this is dependent on over all bulk of the package. 98% of shipments should take no longer that 2-3 day with BMM Racing aiming for a 24 hour turnaround on all orders. Please make note that once your item has been dispatched from are self we are no longer in control of the goods, thus there may be delays in shipping that are out side of are control, please contact us if you have any question. Please note that goods are not classed as lost until two weeks have passed (14 working Days) for more Information on this matter please refer to are shipping Rule Section.
International Deliveries are made by British Parcel Force, currently taking between 3 - 14 working days, however, please allow up to 28 days. Please be aware that we cannot be responsible for the goods once they have left the UK and that deliveries are then in the hands of the countries delivery service agents.
Scottish/Irish and International Addresses
Addresses in Inverness, Aberdeen, Tain & 'Scottish highlands, areas North of Dundee' are areas considered Highland by are courier, Please note that there will be an extra Shipping charge. The “Highlands Shipping Surcharge” will be based upon the weight of your total parcel, this is also in conjunction with Value, for more information in reference to this mater please see are Postage rule section.
International and Export Orders
Please note that the customer is liable for any Import duties payable upon goods reaching destination country. Please also be aware that all international orders are sent using standard delivery and we cannot be held responsible for the delivery of such goods once they have left the United Kingdom.
We endeavour to dispatch goods as soon as possible, but cannot be liable for delays in deliveries to ourselves from manufacturers, courier delivery times, acts of war, terrorism or natural disaster or seasonal occurrences (i.e. Christmas/Easter) or delivery delays to you our customer, due to circumstances which may be beyond our control, e.g. Industrial Strike, Severe weather conditions, International delivery services, acts of war, terrorism, natural disaster or seasonal occurrences.
Should you not be available to take delivery of your parcel, our carrier will leave a card in order for you to arrange an alternative delivery time. The Carrier will attempt to deliver to you TWICE, after which the parcel will be returned to us. Goods shipped using Royal mail Recorded or Special delivery service will have ONE attempt only, and a card will be left at the first attempt. Recorded, courier and special delivery items will be returned to us after 7 days have elapsed from the date the first delivery attempt is made, and a further delivery charge will be payable in order for the goods to be re-sent.
Specification of Goods
Whilst every effort is made to maintain correct pictures and descriptions of good offered, we cannot be held responsible for changes or amendments made by individual manufacturers, which may be made at any time and without notice in the pursuance of improved design/quality. Images are provided for illustration of colour/general appearance only, for a description of the items offered please refer to the actual description area within the shopping area of the website.
Do have a shrinkage element. In the event of NORMAL ANTICIPATED SHRINKAGE or Abuse/Misuse these items WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. Please ensure that these items are laundered in strict accordance with the Manufacturers instructions.
Cancellation of Orders
If for any reason you cancel your order prior to dispatch then payment for the order will be refunded in full. Once your order has been dispatched, you are no longer able to cancel it, but can return it to us in an unused and undamaged condition within 7 days of receipt and receive a refund minus shipping charge and restocking fee (15%).
Please note that special order goods ordered CANNOT be cancelled/returned for exchange.
If we have delivered an incorrect item, please email us for an exchange form and when completed return it with your goods for exchange. We will refund your credit/debit card with the postage cost of returning the item up to a maximum of £5.25. Please ensure that you use either Royal Mail Parcel Post or Recorded delivery service for returning items and advise us of the cost/weight and service used so that we can make the correct refund.
If you choose to use a carrier company, we will refund a maximum of £5.25 provided that a receipt for the cost is included with your return, or follows shortly afterwards.
Please ensure that when you receive your delivery, If the parcel is obviously damaged, write 'DAMAGED' on the Couriers delivery note. Claims cannot be made if this is not adhered to.
If when checking your goods against your delivery note you have a shortage, please inform BMM Racing of the shortage by either Phone Email, Mail or Fax within 3 working days of receipt of goods. If items ordered are to follow, this will show on your delivery note and does not require reporting. If you find a damaged item, please inform BMM Racing of the damage by Phone, Email, Mail or Fax within 3 working days of receipt of goods. 'To Follow' items are delivered free of carriage charges as soon as they become available.
We cannot accept any liability for damage to property, or injury through use of equipment purchased from BMM Racing
Title of goods remains with Bolton Model Mart until full payment has been received.
Back Ordered Goods
All goods are subject to availability. Back orders will be shipped as soon as available. No additional carriage charges will be payable for back orders.
Goods are guaranteed to be of merchantable quality/Fit for purpose and any guarantees that may be offered by Manufacturers will be applied.
Between us is deemed to be complete upon dispatch of goods. Goods are displayed as an invitation to treat and once an offer has been made, our acceptance of that offer is only complete when goods have been dispatched. We reserve the right to decline orders for a variety of reasons, which may include:
This list is not exhaustive, and should we decline an order we will refund the original card details and where possible send a refund notification to the email address given on the order.
- We are unable to gain authorisation for your credit/debit card
- We are unable to reconcile the address given against the cardholder address
- You refuse to provide further proof of identity/address when requested to do so
- We are unable to confirm the order as the email address given is invalid.
- An error has been made by us in the display of pricing of goods on our web site.
We Run all Credit/Debit payment through a third party (Sage Pay) for security reasons, other than Basic address, telephone and email data no other detail are stored by BMM Racing. We also accept Paypal as a form of payment.
Please be aware that cheque payments will not be accepted from September 2008.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
